In light of the ever-increasingly complex and interconnected legal situations confronted by individuals, businesses and corporations in Puerto Rico, at the Law Office of Mariela Maestre, we create a holistic service design. We are committed to providing personal and direct attention to our clients. We have also developed a network with distinguished attorneys who also offer their services to our clients. If appropriate, we are able to form a team that is custom-made for the client and for the particular case or situation.
The background that enables this legal practice method is derived from over fifteen (15) years of experience as a lawyer, and sustained studies in various disciplines. Mariela Maestre focused her undergraduate education in Communication and Social Sciences. While she was a graduate student, she began teaching Spanish to English-speakers and she also offered a course covering Contemporary Problems of Latin America and the Caribbean at Indiana University in Bloomington. In 1998, Maestre began her professional work as an adjunct professor of Communication Ethics and Law. Until 2014, Maestre helped develop core-courses and produced didactic materials for the Department of Communication in the University of the Sacred Heart. Presently, Maestre continues her studies in Neuro-linguistics.
